Damselfly (Ischnura elegans) eating prey

Actual size 35mm, Cornwall UK

Canon300D with 100mm f2.8 macro lens. f/8, 1/160, ISO200 with fill in flash.

Having killed my previous subject, this damselfly became one itself.  Note that most predatory insects eat others head first.  The head is most dangerous, and contains most nutrition. (!)
